Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support engineering automation applications using Rulestream, C#.NET, and VB.NET within Solid Edge.
  • Develop applications, user interfaces, database structures, integrations, and configurable design systems in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Perform full-stack development across desktop, web, and client-side applications while acting as a Rulestream Architect.
  • Use SQL Server and Oracle databases and software design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, MVVM, and MVC.
  • Support CAD modeling and drafting standards and incorporate Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly principles into models and drawings.
  • Maintain engineering tools and outputs, including spreadsheets, calculations, parts lists, and bill-of-materials generation processes.
  • Develop system procedures, technical documentation, user guides, and process documentation, and provide technical guidance and training.
  • Continuously improve design automation tools, engineering productivity, design accuracy, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in software development and strong experience in CAD automation and/or engineering application development.
  • Experience as a full-stack developer across desktop, web, and client applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Rulestream Architect, Engineer, VIA Web and Integration, ASP.NET, C#.NET, Entity Framework 6, LINQ, REST and SOAP APIs, serialization technologies, jQuery, AJAX, ReactJS and/or Angular, Bootstrap and Material UI, JSON and XML, WinForms, and WPF.
  • Experience working with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality solutions.
  • Effective spoken and written English communication skills.
