Responsibilities
- Define and govern architectural standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and blueprints across the engineering portfolio.
- Conduct architectural reviews and design assessments while providing actionable guidance to engineering teams.
- Establish engineering, SDLC, QA, security, and compliance guardrails and monitor adherence.
- Track architectural health, technical debt, risk, quality outcomes, and improvement opportunities through metrics and dashboards.
- Coach and enable engineering teams through workshops, design sessions, playbooks, and communities of practice.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and lead the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools.
- Collaborate with engineering leads, product owners, enterprise architects, and security teams on aligned technology decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Senior Software Architect defining and governing architecture across complex, multi-team engineering environments.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, microservices, API-first approaches, and infrastructure as code, preferably with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices such as TOGAF, including architectural reviews, technical-debt management, and standards compliance.
- Understanding of security-by-design, DevSecOps, quality assurance frameworks, and SDLC practices.
- Hands-on experience with .NET technologies, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#, and the ability to guide .NET development teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred experience includes software engineering, SDLC maturity and quality metrics, platform engineering or developer experience initiatives, internal developer platforms or golden paths, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or Cursor.
