Base Salary

$57k - $109k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to requirements definition, software architecture, and low-level design for embedded software developed in C.
  • Support development activities required for compliance with MIL-STD-516 and DO-178 airworthiness standards.
  • Perform hardware/software integration and debugging on target platforms using logic analyzers, emulators, and hardware test benches.
  • Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation plans within the work area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a STEM major by the start date.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated software programming experience in C, C++, or Python is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of real-time embedded software concepts such as scheduling, concurrency, and coherency is preferred.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and multi-core processors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SPI, MIL-STD-1394, MIL-STD-1553, and/or Ethernet communication stacks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Git is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program or contract.
