Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Containerize industrial applications such as Ignition using Docker for production manufacturing workloads.
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, operators, and ArgoCD application sets for GitOps-driven deployments.
- Integrate Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes.
- Support autoscaling, rollouts, high-availability configurations, troubleshooting, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters.
- Collaborate with SCADA/MES engineers to create Kubernetes-native solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Develop firm-wide standards and procedures for client-owned production containerized applications.
- Travel as needed for installations, client meetings, and industry events.
Requirements
- 6+ years of direct DevOps or cloud solutions architecture experience.
- 3–5+ years of production Kubernetes experience, ideally with stateful or complex applications.
- Hands-on experience building and optimizing Docker containers for production workloads.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes YAML manifests, Helm charts, or Custom Resource Definitions.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD or FluxCD and strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage, and security concepts.
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial automation environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, OpenShift, or K3s is a bonus.
- Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, or Java-based Ignition module development is a plus.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, including work with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer credentials are preferred.
- A minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred; related industrial or manufacturing degrees may be considered with relevant technical experience or coursework.
