Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise software applications and cloud services.
- Build full-stack applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and distributed-system components.
- Develop cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure and support integration with connected devices, gateways, panels, and cloud services.
- Contribute to software architecture, technical design reviews, requirements analysis, estimation, and implementation planning.
- Drive software quality through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and secure coding practices.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and system-level issues.
- Mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product management, hardware, firmware, systems, quality, and cybersecurity teams.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in system architecture and delivering enterprise software, cloud services, or connected-product solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience with Angular or React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud services, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB, including deployment, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- At least 5 years of experience applying software engineering practices including object-oriented design, SOLID principles, secure coding, automated testing, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, troubleshooting, and communication.
- At least 2 years of experience mentoring and leading a team.
- Preferred experience includes IoT-enabled products, connected systems, device-to-cloud architectures, telemetry, remote device management, event-driven messaging, and integration with hardware or edge systems.
- Preferred knowledge includes MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, BLE, Wi-Fi, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, managed identities, OWASP guidance, and cybersecurity practices.
- Preferred experience includes Azure services, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, containerized deployments, industrial automation, building technologies, fire and life safety systems, analytics platforms, or AI-enabled applications.
