Responsibilities
- Own the secure access layer, native connectors, MCP servers, token handling, data residency controls, and zero-PII integration patterns.
- Define signed, versioned schemas for credentials and agent action records that support independent verification.
- Build deployment pipelines, authority policy-as-code controls, skill merge gates, signed builds, and SBOM practices.
- Develop the authority lease service, integrated kill switches, append-only hash-chained audit logs, and bounded write capabilities with idempotency, compensating actions, and multi-approver time locks.
- Migrate existing agents onto the Core, launch department agents, and lead security reviews for continuous read access.
- Design cross-institution interoperability primitives using signed mandates, scoped authority, and attestation receipts compatible with x402, AP2, and MPP.
- Design self-hosted zero-egress private stacks and evaluate agent frameworks, confidential inference, and zero-knowledge attestations.
- Threat-model prompt injection, credential exfiltration, and confused-deputy risks.
Requirements
- Senior Python-first backend engineering experience with production experience in event-driven systems, API integration, and CI/CD.
- Experience composing LLM agents such as Claude, GPT, or comparable systems on Bedrock or comparable platforms into standing systems.
- Security-first experience in a regulated environment such as an MSB, VASP, bank, or comparable organization.
- Working familiarity with capability-based authorization, attenuable tokens, workload identity, and policy-as-code.
- Preferred experience with verifiable credentials, HTTP message signatures, x402, AP2, MPP, Visa TAP, or Mastercard Agent Pay.
- Preferred experience with self-hosted LLM stacks, confidential computing, or trusted execution environments.
- Ability to work autonomously with broad scope on a foundational new team.
