Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, test, and document software applications, features, integrations, and reusable components under experienced technical guidance.
- Translate business and process needs into practical technology solutions while collaborating with developers, business analysts, product owners, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in application design discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, testing, and implementation activities.
- Support automation and modernization initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve workflow efficiency, strengthen controls, and increase process visibility.
- Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, root-cause analysis, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Apply enterprise development practices including secure coding, version control, testing, application resiliency, change readiness, and production support awareness.
- Research and experiment with emerging technologies, development tools, AI-enabled engineering practices, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date is May 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Foundational understanding of programming, software development concepts, data structures, databases, web technologies, or application design through coursework, projects, or hands-on experience.
- Preferred experience includes internships, projects, research, student organizations, volunteer work, or leadership involving software development, application delivery, data analysis, automation, testing, or technology-enabled business process improvement.
- Exposure to programming languages or frameworks such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Spring Boot, .NET, or SQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, APIs, cloud platforms, or DevSecOps concepts is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, adaptability, accountability, and willingness to learn are expected.
