Base Salary
$141k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor engineers to foster their growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to create integrated solutions.
- Improve engineering processes including sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Build services that meet high standards for availability and latency.
- Work with the latest open source technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with Java, Golang or Scala programming is a plus.
