Base Salary

$73k - $133k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build, customize, and maintain responsive front-end web pages, applications, and UI components for a Navy intelligence production and dissemination system.
  • Align web design modules, workflows, and interfaces with customer usability standards and enterprise branding guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot advanced workflow, connectivity, application, and system issues across modern web production environments.
  • Provide front-end site customization and support for new production workflows and tools.
  • Serve as a software development and web design subject matter expert for technical teams and government stakeholders.
  • Provide applicable data analytics support and coordinate outstanding issues across departments and customers.
  • Author standard operating procedures, user guides, technical specifications, and other documentation for senior officials and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant software development experience or master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience for mid-level opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant software development experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience for senior-level opportunities.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end web design, user interface modules, and web framework architectures.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Python, and/or Perl.
  • Working knowledge of JSON and RESTful web services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, customers, and senior government officials.
  • Ability to report onsite to JBAB for approximately 75% of work hours.
