Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical contributor by delegating and reviewing work from lower-level engineers and influencing engineering policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provide systems thinking and software architecture support, including CONOPS, specification trees, multi-CSCI decomposition, and complex issue resolution through PDR.
- Integrate across disciplines and work with senior architects and technical fellows with minimal oversight.
- Drive technical clarity across sensor and effector integrations through system-of-systems architecture, inter-CSCI interfaces, software requirements, and hardware/software integration.
- Use Cameo or Enterprise Architect, MOSA standards, and multidisciplinary leadership to communicate technical decisions and support major design reviews.
- Architect, implement, test, and debug embedded real-time software in heterogeneous hardware, firmware, and software environments.
- Participate in PDR and CDR design reviews and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Travel occasionally, up to 5%.
Requirements
- STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with software architecture for large-scale, complex system-of-systems, subsystem interface design, and software integration and testing.
- Experience with Cameo or Enterprise Architect, MS Visio, and MOSA standards including OMS, AMS-GRA, and A-GRA.
- Experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications using C++ or related languages and Linux, VxWorks, or another real-time operating system.
- Product-domain experience in RF or EO/IR sensors, electronic warfare effectors, communications, or multi-domain mission systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship eligibility for clearance.
- Experience collaborating with Systems, Firmware, and Hardware engineering teams.
- Ability to develop and present complex technical material at PDR and CDR design reviews.
- Experience in system integration lab environments with physical hardware, test benches, and simulators.
- Experience with Agile Scrum development practices, Git, GitLab or Artifactory, and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret clearance with special program access is preferred.
