Responsibilities
- Define and maintain security architectures, standards, controls, and engineering guardrails across cloud, endpoint, identity, DevSecOps, data, and AI environments.
- Lead security engineering initiatives and translate security strategy into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive detection engineering and security automation to improve incident response and platform resilience.
- Collaborate with the SOC to turn detections and incidents into long-term engineering improvements.
- Design and implement security controls across software development and cloud platforms.
- Lead threat modeling, risk reduction, and secure-by-design initiatives.
- Define security metrics, KPIs, and engineering telemetry for platform security and reliability.
- Contribute to CI/CD security, application security, cloud security, audit readiness, and continuous compliance.
- Provide technical leadership, collaboration, and mentoring across engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, cloud security, or application security.
- Strong experience with security architecture, cloud environments, modern security engineering practices, and security controls across cloud and software platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Azure, Defender, Sentinel, Entra, and Purview or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, and security automation.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD security, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, and security governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Professional-level English.
- CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, Azure Security, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, or related security certifications are preferred.
- Experience in automotive or industrial environments, outsourced SOC providers, TISAX, GDPR, or French, German, or Chinese is preferred.
