Base Salary

$114k - $249k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and evolve test automation strategy across multiple enterprise application teams.
  • Lead Workday test automation and tool evaluation for HCM and Finance functional areas.
  • Design, build, maintain, and review automated test frameworks and test cases for custom-built applications and Workday systems.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, including test data management and shift-left practices.
  • Mentor engineers and developers on testing best practices and influence quality practices across peer teams.
  • Establish and track quality metrics and present findings to senior and executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with application teams to integrate quality practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
  • Strong hands-on Java and object-oriented development skills, including the ability to develop, review, and maintain automation code.
  • Deep experience designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cucumber, or Selenium.
  • Experience defining test strategies for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, including test data management and shift-left testing.
  • Workday testing experience in HCM and/or Finance, including Kainos Smart Test or Opkey.
  • Experience automating testing and managing test data for closed SaaS ecosystems.
  • Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines for test automation using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Strong system design, cloud technology, data storage, performance tuning, optimization, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, unit testing, and software security experience.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, including experience setting testing direction and mentoring others across multiple teams.
