Responsibilities
- Administer Neo4j database platforms, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Plan and execute Neo4j database migrations from on-premises environments to AWS, including data migration, validation, optimization, and post-migration support.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Neo4j databases on AWS EC2 using AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM.
- Perform platform monitoring, log management, health dashboard management, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance to support high availability and reliability.
- Evaluate and deliver Proofs of Concept for new technologies and automate operational tasks using scripting and programming languages.
- Troubleshoot firewall, network security, access control, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical updates, manage stakeholder expectations, and collaborate through meetings and professional email communication.
Requirements
- Expertise in Neo4j Database Platform Administration is required.
- Hands-on experience migrating Neo4j databases from on-premises environments to AWS, including migration planning, data migration, validation, performance optimization, and post-migration support, is required.
- Strong experience with AWS EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, and IAM, including managing Neo4j databases on AWS EC2, is required.
- Proficiency in platform monitoring, log management, health dashboards, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance is required.
- Experience evaluating and delivering Proofs of Concept and implementing automation with scripting and programming languages is required.
- Good understanding of networking concepts, firewall configuration, network security, access control, and connectivity troubleshooting is required.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
