Base Salary
$145k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack features across front-end, back-end, data modeling, infrastructure, and test automation.
- Own large, ambiguous projects end to end from ideation through general availability, including cross-team planning, execution, shipping, and operational excellence.
- Develop high-performance, virtualized front-end views capable of rendering hundreds of thousands of rows.
- Design back-end distributed systems, APIs, and data pipelines supporting real-time collaboration, large datasets, and high-concurrency workloads.
- Identify and solve team-wide operational and developer-experience problems by building reusable tooling and infrastructure.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude throughout development, testing, review, and documentation while validating their output.
- Lead design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and partner with product, design, data, and customer success teams.
- Deliver reliable, observable production code, monitoring, and iterative improvements based on usage and feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment.
- 3+ years of experience with service-oriented architecture, deployment systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Ruby, Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with modern client-side JavaScript libraries such as React and Redux.
- Experience with application migration patterns and trade-off scenarios.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and REST design principles.
- Clear and objective writing and in-person communication skills, along with curiosity to learn new technologies and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
