Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements and design reviews and develop software integration test plans.
- Create test cases and scripts covering interfaces, protocols, scheduling, resource contention, and architecture-based testing.
- Execute integration tests for APIs, databases, business processes, CP/AP platforms, and automotive communication systems.
- Deploy and maintain test environments and perform interface automation and stress testing.
- Use C/C++ to develop test stubs and drivers and Python or CAPL for test orchestration and result analysis.
- Prepare test reports, analyze results, assess release risks, and track defects through closure.
- Collaborate with software development and product teams to identify root causes and keep projects on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronics, automation, vehicle engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of automotive electronic software testing experience focused on software architecture-level integration testing, including complete integration-test delivery for a mass-production CP or AP project.
- Strong understanding of AUTOSAR methodology, RTE/DDS communication, EA software architecture, sequence diagrams, and state machines.
- Expertise in interface, protocol, scheduling, and resource-contention testing, plus black-box and architecture-based test-generation methods.
- Experience with ETAS/Vector toolchains, BSW/RTE code structures, Debug or XCP test interfaces, AP middleware such as DDS, and Linux/QNX integration testing.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python or CAPL; experience with CANoe, VectorCAST, GoogleTest, Wireshark, Lauterbach, IC5700, GDB, Gliwa, Codebeamer, and Windchill.
- Ability to understand system-wide software design intent, identify architecture defects, and communicate actionable testing recommendations.
- ISO 26262 ASIL-B architecture testing, FFI validation, cross-domain Radar/ADCU/Camera communication, EA-based test-script generation, and ASPICE evidence experience are preferred.
