Responsibilities
- Customize ERP systems using ERP platform development tools.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and enhance custom-built applications.
- Create and execute automated tests and perform developer testing before deployment.
- Manage build creation and updates and deploy builds to development and test environments.
- Respond to tier-three technical support requests and resolve application defects and issues.
- Maintain and upgrade ERP customizations and custom-built applications.
- Break down solution designs into development tasks and estimate effort.
- Communicate project progress, issues, risks, and changes throughout development.
- Evaluate alternative technical solutions and research new technologies, enhancements, and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and mentor junior developers.
- Build and maintain customer-focused relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in software development or a related field.
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in computer technology or a related discipline.
- Experience with web-based development using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with C#, .NET, Azure Functions, SQL Server, and Transact-SQL.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Git, Azure, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2022, Visual Studio Code, or similar development tools.
- Understanding of software design patterns, AI-assisted development, mobile development, application architecture, and API-based development.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, XP, and Agile.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage priorities, learn business processes, and recommend technical solutions.
- Experience with X++ customization for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or other ERP systems is a significant asset.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
