Responsibilities
- Write clean, modular Python and C++ code to deliver high-impact features.
- Design scalable application architecture for distributed systems, API performance, and cloud-native resilience.
- Implement and manage Docker and Kubernetes workflows across AWS environments.
- Design and manage Snowflake data environments for storage optimization, query performance, and cost-efficient scaling.
- Design robust SQL schemas supporting transactional applications and analytical reporting.
- Use AI agentic tools to automate repetitive work and accelerate feature delivery.
- Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to support, maintain, and scale infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience with Python and C++.
- Practical experience with system design patterns including microservices, REST, and event-driven systems.
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with relational database design.
- Hands-on AWS experience and container-orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI-augmented tools to improve coding velocity and solve complex problems.
- Preferred experience with Snowflake, AWS Firehose, AWS Kinesis Agent, Tableau, or QuickSight.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container technologies, Google Workspace, Agile environments, and equities or derivatives trading is preferred.
