Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across complex customer environments.
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce capabilities, custom development, integrations, automation, architecture, and governance.
- Gather requirements with customers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Produce technical designs, architecture recommendations, and implementation plans aligned with best practices.
- Design and deliver integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and integration platforms.
- Optimise platform performance and support ongoing enhancements and operational excellence.
- Contribute to technical standards, solution governance, and Salesforce platform roadmaps.
- Advise customers on Salesforce capabilities, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.
- Mentor team members and help resolve complex technical challenges.
- Promote security, compliance, data integrity, and platform governance best practices.
- Follow Datacom health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce consulting, development, or technical delivery experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform capabilities.
- Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and data management.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
- Technical leadership experience in complex customer environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, planning, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Application Architect, or System Architect certification is preferred.
- MuleSoft or other integration platform experience, enterprise or government delivery experience, Salesforce DevOps and CI/CD experience, and Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud exposure are preferred.
- Mentoring and people leadership experience is preferred.
