Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases.
- Develop and optimize T SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes.
- Ensure database performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with application developers to support backend and full stack features.
- Implement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and automated release pipelines.
- Support CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Perform schema versioning, migration, partitioning, and release coordination.
- Troubleshoot production issues and conduct performance tuning.
- Enforce database security, access controls, and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent role.
- Advanced expertise in SQL Server / Azure SQL.
- Strong T SQL development skills including stored procedures and query optimization.
- Experience with Azure hosted databases and cloud-based architectures.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell for database deployment and automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and GitHub for version control.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and data modeling.
- Experience supporting applications built on .NET / C#.
