Responsibilities
- Conduct threat modeling, secure code reviews, and security assessments across applications and infrastructure.
- Perform security architecture reviews of the application stack, including cloud technologies.
- Review source code for security issues and write security test cases.
- Provide risk assessment and remediation guidelines for developers.
- Research the latest security best practices and trends.
- Perform in-depth security reviews of new features and identify vulnerabilities.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD processes.
- Implement security architecture and controls to meet compliance requirements.
- Lead complex security projects from planning to execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert on secure software development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in information security.
- 3+ years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in secure design reviews and threat modeling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of application security principles and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of scalable and reliable enterprise application architectures.
- History of leading and delivering complex security projects.
