Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision for Search Quality and ranking architecture.
- Identify and solve challenges in ranking and query understanding.
- Design and train production-ready ranking and reranking models.
- Collaborate with teams to define metrics and evaluation methodologies.
- Drive end-to-end engineering efforts from prototyping to production.
- Build and operate resilient, low-latency services for ranking.
- Mentor teammates and elevate design and code quality.
- Shape the long-term roadmap for retrieval quality and ranking infrastructure.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale search and ranking systems.
- Deep expertise in Search Quality and ranking models.
- Strong understanding of relevance metrics and evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with vector search and hybrid retrieval techniques.
- Solid foundation in algorithms and system design.
- Proven ability to deliver high-impact technical initiatives.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration in fast-paced environments.
- Strategic mindset to align technical execution with long-term vision.
