Responsibilities
- Define and advance the technical vision for large-scale supply chain platforms aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
- Lead architecture and design decisions across products and development teams throughout the full solution lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers while raising technical standards across the organization.
- Directly lead multiple development teams when needed by setting priorities, coordinating execution, and establishing delivery rhythms.
- Partner with product, operations, architecture, platform, and business stakeholders to create technical roadmaps and execution plans.
- Drive dependency management, risk mitigation, delivery visibility, and decision-making across engineering teams.
- Champion cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps automation, observability, reliability engineering, and high-quality software delivery.
- Set standards for AI-assisted engineering, including appropriate review, security, and code-quality expectations.
- Run time-boxed experiments and prototypes involving architecture, tooling, and emerging technologies.
- Stay close to supply chain operations so platform architecture reflects real operational needs.
- Promote accountability, experimentation, continuous learning, technical excellence, and inclusive leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years designing and delivering complex enterprise software solutions, including large-scale transformation initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, modern integration patterns, and scalable platform design.
- 5+ years delivering software with React, Node.js using TypeScript, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, Docker, Terraform, Serverless, and contemporary DevOps and platform-engineering practices.
- Demonstrated success setting technical direction, influencing across multiple teams, and partnering with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders.
- Experience using AI as an engineering assistant and raising AI-enabled delivery capabilities across teams while maintaining quality, security, and review standards.
- Experience leading or coordinating multiple software development teams and mentoring senior engineers and technical leads.
- Experience aligning roadmaps, managing dependencies, and driving execution across cross-functional stakeholders and shared priorities.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture, system design, domain-driven design, APIs, event-driven systems, security, observability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Experience integrating data, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities into production-grade enterprise platforms.
- Preferred qualifications include globally distributed team experience, supply chain or manufacturing platform experience, AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SAFe or other agile delivery certifications, productivity-tooling experience, LLM or AI-agent production experience, and experience introducing emerging technologies into enterprises.
