Base Salary

$176k - $242k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the architecture and evolution of the data extraction and normalization platform.
Design systems to process large volumes of records from various sources with high reliability.
Implement strategies to minimize human validation through AI-based methods.
Establish system contracts for correctness and traceability.
Identify and remediate architectural bottlenecks affecting scale and accuracy.
Act as a technical authority to improve system designs and introduce new tools.
Partner with product teams to define quality standards and success metrics.
Mentor senior engineers and contribute to the technical strategy.

10+ years of experience in building large-scale production systems.
Proven experience in designing data ingestion and processing systems.
Deep expertise in distributed systems, data platforms, or AI/ML-powered systems.
Ability to design trustworthy systems combining probabilistic and deterministic approaches.
Strong understanding of system reliability and observability.
Experience in reducing operational overhead through better system design.
Track record of technical leadership across teams.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity.
