Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex software problems.
- Determine user requirements with relevant stakeholders.
- Learn and apply new engineering methods and industry best practices.
- Develop reliable, efficient, and observable data solutions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operational consistency at scale.
- Complete software projects collaboratively while managing time effectively.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship.
- Alternatively, currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of programming experience.
- Preferred: at least 6 months of experience delivering projects in teams.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience developing and applying data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: coursework or experience in databases, analytics, data engineering, or distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C#.
- Preferred: familiarity with ETL pipelines, data processing frameworks, telemetry systems, reporting tools, or cloud-based data platforms.
- Preferred: interest in large-scale data processing, analytics, query optimization, data quality, and business insights.
