Base Salary
$121k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate software requirements into clinical imaging application features using sound design principles.
- Implement high-quality C++ features that meet real-time performance constraints.
- Apply static code analysis and peer review before integrating code into the existing application.
- Create and maintain Software Design Description documentation.
- Perform unit testing and necessary manual testing, including validation against edge cases and user requirements.
- Follow Philips Agile Quality Management System processes and create documentation required for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with product owners, senior software engineers, AI/ML engineers, testers, and global cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience, including embedded software development using C++.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with desktop applications and UI frameworks such as Qt.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Experience with CMake, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with IEC 62304, IEC 82304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across matrixed organizations and global software teams.
- Ability to meet the stated physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
