Responsibilities

  • Triage and investigate security alerts from various platforms.
  • Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunts across telemetry data.
  • Research attacker TTPs and develop new detection logic.
  • Analyze cloud configurations and IAM policies for misconfigurations.
  • Investigate suspicious macOS activity and analyze malicious emails.
  • Document processes and create playbooks to improve response capabilities.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and at least one operating system (Linux or macOS).
  • Ability to parse and analyze logs from multiple sources.
  • Comfort with scripting or automation using Python, SQL, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on exposure to SIEM, EDR, or cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and curiosity about attacker operations.

Benefits
