Responsibilities
- Triage and investigate security alerts from various platforms.
- Conduct hypothesis-driven threat hunts across telemetry data.
- Research attacker TTPs and develop new detection logic.
- Analyze cloud configurations and IAM policies for misconfigurations.
- Investigate suspicious macOS activity and analyze malicious emails.
- Document processes and create playbooks to improve response capabilities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and at least one operating system (Linux or macOS).
- Ability to parse and analyze logs from multiple sources.
- Comfort with scripting or automation using Python, SQL, or similar languages.
- Hands-on exposure to SIEM, EDR, or cloud platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity about attacker operations.
