Base Salary
$183k - $247k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, release, and maintain native iOS applications primarily in Swift.
- Build and ship onboarding features that drive user growth and improve learning experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to create engaging new-user experiences.
- Work across iOS and backend systems and run experiments to improve daily active users and new-user day-seven retention.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate across teams to ensure quality and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- 5–10 years of programming experience in Swift.
- Willingness to relocate to and work in Beijing, China.
- Dedication to Duolingo’s mission of universally available education.
- Exceptional candidates may have a Duolingo streak.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred for exceptional candidates.
