Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications and infrastructure on OpenShift.
- Ensure stability, security, and performance across multiple environments.
- Use scripting, Ansible playbooks, monitoring, maintenance, and CI/CD tools to automate and operate systems.
- Perform Linux security hardening, DISA STIG and Nessus scanning, SELinux debugging and policy development, and repository management.
- Develop manual or scripted backup and recovery processes and create Kickstart scripts for RHEL installations.
Requirements
- At least one of the following certifications is required: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, or the specified Red Hat platform qualifications.
- Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, networking and security in containerized environments, Syslog, monitoring, Ansible, Linux security hardening, SELinux, RPM repository management, and version control.
- Advanced Bash or Python scripting skills are required.
- Familiarity with RHEL, OpenShift, IA controls, backup and restoration operations for UNIX and Linux systems, Kickstart scripts, and automation is desired.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a U.S. government Secret-level security clearance.
- Must be able to travel 10%.
