Responsibilities
- Contribute to full-stack web application development and maintenance under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Implement frontend features using React and TypeScript or similar frameworks.
- Support backend services and APIs using NodeJS, NestJS, Python, FastAPI, or Django.
- Integrate LLM-based capabilities into applications and help evolve proofs of concept into production-ready features.
- Write tested, readable code and participate in code reviews.
- Support cloud deployment and application operations, including work with SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Collaborate in an Agile delivery environment through stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent experience through internships, placements, or relevant projects.
- Foundational JavaScript or TypeScript knowledge and experience with at least one modern frontend framework, preferably React.
- Basic backend development experience with NodeJS or Python.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and client-server concepts.
- Exposure to cloud-based systems or interest in learning cloud technologies.
- Basic understanding of Agile development practices and an interest in generative AI and LLM applications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, curiosity, and openness to feedback.
- Preferred exposure includes LLM APIs or tooling, prompting, basic evaluation, RAG patterns, AI-enabled application projects, and AWS or Azure.
- Curiosity about software quality, security, and reliability is desirable.
