Base Salary

$170k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop firmware for microcontroller-based IoT devices.
  • Develop communication platforms for new and existing sensors using datasheets and schematics.
  • Support new board bring-up, electrical debugging, system failure analysis, and firmware testing.
  • Maintain coding standards, revision control, design documentation, and user documentation.
  • Support manufacturing automation for device configuration and testing.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and use AI helpers to improve productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of embedded firmware development experience focused on computing systems and algorithms.
  • Experience with Linux, C++, Rust, UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, and USB.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol decoders.
  • Working knowledge of Python.
  • Familiarity with IoT devices using Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity.
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and major cloud providers for data storage.
  • Startup experience.

  • $170,000–$190,000 annual base salary.
