Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end 0-to-1 prototypes across AI, backend, data, and product surfaces.
- Optimize feed retrieval and ranking systems, profile slow endpoints, and resolve race conditions, memory leaks, latency, reliability, and cost issues.
- Own personalization systems including retrieval, ranking, cold-start behavior, and recommendation tradeoffs.
- Build data pipelines, internal tools, evaluation systems, and production infrastructure.
- Build reliable LLM-powered systems for real-world product use.
- Work directly with founders to turn product ideas into working software and contribute to product strategy.
Requirements
- Ability to move between rapid prototyping and deep technical work across AI, backend, data, and product systems.
- Depth in at least one of AI product systems, recommendation and personalization, or core product infrastructure.
- Experience with consumer products, social products, marketplaces, or other user-facing systems at meaningful scale.
- Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar domains and work with high agency and independence.
- Genuine interest in fashion, avatars, or creative expression.
- Experience shipping iOS or other native mobile experiences is a bonus.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, training pipelines, evaluation systems, or data flywheels is a bonus.
