Responsibilities
- Lead complex technical projects from ideation and design through production and deployment.
- Design, architect, and build performant and reliable technical features, tools, and services.
- Drive technical vision, influence product strategy, and conduct regular technical reviews.
- Monitor and maintain product and platform performance in a high-volume, two-sided marketplace environment.
- Resolve issues affecting the shift marketplace and improve marketplace outcomes.
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in scaling the engineering team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Core competency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React Native, and related technologies.
- Experience collaborating with leadership, product managers, designers, and engineers across a modern MERN-based technology stack.
- Ability to take ownership, work through ambiguity, and connect technical work to business outcomes.
- Interest in working in a dynamic, fast-paced early-stage startup.
