Responsibilities
- Define and execute test automation strategy for the SNAP platform.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to establish quality goals, testing standards, and automation best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end, integration, API, and UI automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Increase automation coverage and testing efficiency across applications and services.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implement quality gates.
- Improve testability, observability, release confidence, and product quality with developers.
- Analyze testing metrics, lead root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing when automation is not practical or during critical releases.
- Mentor QA engineers and developers on automation, testing strategies, and quality engineering.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, and customer-facing teams to understand requirements and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing automation frameworks with Playwright.
- Programming experience with C#/.NET.
- Experience testing modern web applications, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and quality engineering principles.
- Experience developing automation strategies across multiple teams or products.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and influence engineering teams without direct authority.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving adoption of quality best practices.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, infrastructure deployment validation, DevOps pipelines, test data and environment management, performance testing, security testing, observability platforms, regulated healthcare or SaaS environments, or Test Automation Lead, QA Lead, or Quality Engineering Lead responsibilities.
