Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents that automate multi-step semiconductor workflows.
- Develop agent-platform orchestration, tool integration, observability, and evaluation infrastructure.
- Collaborate with design and verification engineers to understand pain points and identify automation opportunities.
- Create techniques for grounding agents in domain knowledge, specifications, design rules, and verification intent.
- Build evaluation frameworks for agent reliability, correctness, and safety.
- Debug problems across model behavior, infrastructure, and semiconductor-specific edge cases.
- Ship robust, production-quality systems that operate reliably at scale.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of industry experience.
- Experience in or familiarity with semiconductor or EDA areas such as RTL design, verification, physical design, or EDA tool development.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML, including model operation, training, and evaluation.
- Strong programming skills and ability to build robust, production-quality systems.
- Ability to reason about complex problems and diagnose subtle issues across technical domains.
- Clear communication skills to bridge different technical domains.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD, deep semiconductor expertise in areas such as verification methodologies, synthesis, timing closure, or DFT; deep AI/ML expertise; hands-on LLM, RAG, or agentic-systems experience; EDA tool internals or automation-scripting experience; and semiconductor or AI/ML publications or significant projects.
