Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities.
- Build and ship production applications from concept through deployment using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, tools, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and performance-optimized solutions and resolve complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and contribute to technical communities.
- Apply secure coding practices and effective unit testing to protect data and improve software reliability.
- Guide team members or lead collaborative assignments, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical decisions.
- Manage risks, strengthen controls, and support delivery according to quality, governance, and business objectives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or React, depending on the role’s backend, Android, full-stack, or frontend focus.
- Proven experience developing and deploying production applications, including understanding of the software development life cycle, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability, including systematic debugging and efficient solution design.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate technical concepts, document work, and participate in code reviews.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization, is valued.
- Experience designing or consuming REST APIs and understanding HTTP, request/response handling, and authentication mechanisms is valued.
- Familiarity with unit, integration, or end-to-end testing and test-driven development practices is valued.
- Knowledge of scalable system design, performance optimization, caching strategies, or mobile application architecture is valued.
- Experience using ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar AI tools for development workflows is valued.
- Ability to guide junior developers, contribute to technical decisions, and raise team standards.
