Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core or MVC, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Build REST APIs, web services, and integrations for secure data exchange.
- Implement data entry, batch upload, validation, duplicate detection, workflow, notifications, and data download capabilities.
- Design and optimize SQL Server data models, queries, and stored procedures, including migration and reconciliation support.
- Write unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests and contribute to automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Investigate production defects using application logs and monitoring data, identify root causes, and deliver tested fixes.
- Apply secure coding, least-privilege access, role-based authorization, privacy, Section 508, and WCAG requirements.
- Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, demonstrations, releases, and user acceptance testing support.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, cloud, database, security, quality, accessibility, product, and client stakeholders.
- Maintain technical documentation covering application behavior, interfaces, data flows, deployment, and operational support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years developing and supporting production web applications.
- At least 2 years using C#, .NET or .NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC or Web API with object-oriented design.
- At least 2 years working with SQL Server or another relational database, including data modeling, query development, and performance troubleshooting.
- At least 1 year developing browser interfaces and integrating APIs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and JSON.
- At least 1 year writing automated tests and collaborating through Git-based source control, pull requests, and code reviews.
- At least 1 year implementing authentication, authorization, role-based access, and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues, document technical solutions, and communicate effectively on a collaborative delivery team.
- Authorization to work in the United States, ability to perform all work within the United States, and ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination and complete background screening.
- Preferred qualifications include incremental modernization of legacy .NET applications, AWS or AWS GovCloud support, CloudWatch or Splunk troubleshooting, Docker, infrastructure as code, React or Angular, Okta, ETL, Tableau, and federal security, privacy, and accessibility experience.
