Base Salary

$135k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data-engineering workflows supporting model delivery across multiple destinations.
  • Develop and extend ECOS platform components for ingesting, transforming, validating, and routing model content.
  • Build SQL Server/T-SQL logic for data processing, validation, auditing, and error handling.
  • Implement scalable Python services and automation tools for the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
  • Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for model-delivery services.
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, and traceability through logging, monitoring, and operational tooling.
  • Partner with quantitative researchers, model owners, and downstream consumers to improve delivery workflows and platform usability.
  • Experiment with tools, design patterns, and technologies to improve reliability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation or escalation support for production model-delivery processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on software engineering or data engineering experience; financial services or asset management experience is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of SQL Server and T-SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning, and ETL workflows.
  • At least 3 years of Python experience involving data processing, service development, or automation frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering concepts including data modeling, data pipelines, validation frameworks, lineage, and error handling.
  • Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Preferred experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Fargate, Aurora, and Terraform.
  • Experience designing scalable systems and APIs for data-delivery use cases.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, documentation, ownership, collaboration, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
