Responsibilities
- Clarify requirements related to testing new features and bug fixes.
- Create, update, and execute manual and automated tests, test cases, and test data for platform releases.
- Investigate test failures and distinguish defects from installation or test-data issues.
- Monitor and report testing progress using quality assurance processes and agreed standards.
- Test existing system processes and recommend improvements.
- Assess software requirements and features for compatibility with current systems.
- Integrate and commission solutions at NATO facilities and support project deployment.
- Conduct technical and business analyses and coordinate with stakeholders and the France team.
- Travel for several days or weeks to NATO facilities and between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands as project phases require.
Requirements
- Experience testing software to validate customer requirements, including automated testing and CI/CD automation skills.
- Mandatory experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, vCenter, vSAN, ESX, and at least one backup technology such as Veeam.
- Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation is required; vCFA, vOPS, AVI, and NSX are nice to have.
- Jenkins, Molecule, Linux, Windows, Rubrik, Python, JMeter, and command-line Linux application configuration are beneficial.
- Knowledge of the relevant technologies and the ability to deploy systems manually are mandatory.
- NS clearance is required.
- Highly proficient spoken and written English, flexibility to travel, proactive problem-solving ability, teamwork, and self-direction are required.
- French, leadership skills, and presentation skills are nice to have.
