Responsibilities
- Clarify requirements for testing new features and bug fixes.
- Create, update, and execute manual and automated tests, test cases, and test data for platform releases.
- Analyze development deliveries and accept or reject them according to defined criteria.
- Investigate test failures and distinguish defects from installation, platform, or test-data issues.
- Monitor and report testing progress using quality assurance processes and agreed standards.
- Test existing system processes, recommend improvements, and assess new software requirements for compatibility.
- Conduct and report technical and business analyses with key stakeholders.
- Integrate and commission releases from NATO facilities and support project deployment.
- Travel to NATO facilities for several days or weeks depending on project phases.
Requirements
- Experience testing software to validate customer requirements, with automation skills and CI/CD-chain knowledge.
- Mandatory experience with Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, VMware vCenter, vSAN, ESX, and at least one backup technology such as Veeam.
- Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation is required; vCFA, vOPS, AVI, and NSX are advantageous.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and the ability to deploy systems manually are mandatory.
- Jenkins, Molecule, Python, Linux, Windows, Rubrik, and JMeter performance testing are advantageous.
- Experience configuring applications from the Linux command line is advantageous.
- Highly proficient spoken and written English is required; French is advantageous.
- NS clearance and strong flexibility to travel between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands are required.
