Responsibilities

Design and architect multi-region, highly available cloud infrastructure for OTA backend services, vehicle identity and provisioning, fleet telemetry, remote diagnostics, and feature-on-demand services.
Define Cloud-to-Vehicle, Cloud-to-Edge gateway, and Cloud-to-Simulation/HPC reference architectures.
Architect and operate OTA campaign management, including artifact storage and signing, phased rollouts, rollback, safe-state mechanisms, and ECU software and vehicle configuration integration.
Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines for backend microservices, OTA backend systems, and data pipelines, including artifact signing and container security scanning.
Ensure compliance with ISO 24089, UNECE R156, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and global data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with embedded ECU software, AI/ML, cybersecurity, functional safety, legal/compliance, and cloud teams in the United States and Japan.
Support customer workshops, technical deep dives, and RFQ technical responses.
Lead, build, and mentor engineers responsible for sub-project activities.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field is required; preference is given to master’s candidates.
At least 7 years of applicable cloud engineering experience is required.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and REST/gRPC APIs is required.
Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems is required.
Knowledge of PKI systems, HSM integration, secure boot, and firmware-signing concepts is required.
Knowledge of OTA architecture, ECU software lifecycle, and AUTOSAR Classic or Adaptive is preferred.
Knowledge of vehicle network architecture and automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 is preferred.
Technical writing, communication, time-management, and project-management skills are expected.

Domestic and international travel may be required as needed.
The role requires sitting or standing for extended periods and may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
