Responsibilities
- Design and develop software systems and enhance backend features.
- Collaborate with firmware, backend, SRE, dashboard, support, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and reliable customer-facing systems.
- Improve user interfaces and provide comprehensive support for end users.
- Identify and address performance issues.
- Follow coding standards and contribute insights that improve team knowledge.
- Own development tasks from conception through implementation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience writing production code and tests for medium- to large-scale systems.
- 4+ years of experience with full-stack technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Python, React.js, and JavaScript.
- Ability to design efficient databases and optimize query performance in relational databases such as Postgres.
- Interest in understanding user needs and contributing to product development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: experience building cloud-based infrastructure and services, including web applications.
- Preferred: experience with container solutions such as Kubernetes.
