Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to maintain high availability, reliability, and stability across microservices architecture.
- Design and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions for scalable service deployment.
- Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and post-mortem analysis.
- Drive capacity planning and infrastructure scaling strategies.
- Maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and other documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Proficiency in Bash and at least one programming language, such as Python or Go.
- Experience deploying and operating production services.
- Experience with version control systems, including Git.
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
- Preferred production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred database administration experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Preferred experience operating large-scale web services and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including firewall configuration, IAM, and network security.
