Responsibilities
- Design and develop control software and user interfaces according to product or project needs.
- Test and validate new hardware platforms.
- Support development of new camera and robotic systems.
- Fix bugs and update features in existing control software.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
- Professional work experience, with micro mechanics or robotics experience strongly preferred.
- Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with Python libraries including NumPy, SciPy, and PyQt, and source control systems such as Git.
- Experience with concurrent programming, including threading or multiprocessing.
- Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and pub-sub.
- Familiarity with AI inferencing workflows, deployment pipelines, or machine learning models is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
