Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control software and user interfaces according to product or project needs.
  • Test and validate new hardware platforms.
  • Support development of new camera and robotic systems.
  • Fix bugs and update features in existing control software.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
  • Professional work experience, with micro mechanics or robotics experience strongly preferred.
  • Programming experience in Python, C++, C#, or Java.
  • Familiarity with Python libraries including NumPy, SciPy, and PyQt, and source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with concurrent programming, including threading or multiprocessing.
  • Knowledge of software design and architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and pub-sub.
  • Familiarity with AI inferencing workflows, deployment pipelines, or machine learning models is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
