Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end scalable, resilient, and secure solutions across web, API, backend, data, and AI layers.
- Lead the design and governance of modern web applications and member portals using responsive UI frameworks and API-first architecture.
- Establish microservices, integration, and event-driven system patterns for enterprise and healthcare domain integration.
- Drive conversational AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation, agentic workflows, and prompt engineering frameworks.
- Architect healthcare integrations for provider directories, benefits eligibility, cost estimation, claims status APIs, and contact-center handoffs.
- Design and implement Azure cloud-native distributed applications, including Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments and Infrastructure-as-Code strategies.
- Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps practices with observability, monitoring, performance, and security controls.
- Mentor engineering teams on architectural practices, technical planning, and delivery governance.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience with substantial hands-on expertise in Azure development, full-stack architecture, and AI integration within enterprise platforms.
- Expertise in Azure cloud-native services, microservices, API-first architectures, and healthcare and enterprise system integrations.
- Full-stack development experience with Next.js and Node.js.
- Experience implementing conversational AI and Retrieval Augmented Generation solutions.
- Experience with Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Preferred: hands-on Terraform experience, OpenShift and event-driven architecture knowledge, semantic search and vector retrieval expertise, LLM integration optimization, AI guardrails, responsible AI controls, and healthcare domain knowledge.
- Preferred: AI or Machine Learning certification, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or equivalent.
