Base Salary
$167k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability efforts for a fleet of 80+ FedRAMP-compliant microservices.
- Apply SRE principles to drive observability, automation, and incident prevention.
- Manage high-priority application incident escalations and perform technical analysis.
- Engineer solutions to enhance availability, latency, and performance of production services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for post-incident reviews and systemic improvements.
- Document operational knowledge and embed SRE best practices into standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud-based software applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring framework, and Python in a Linux environment.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar operational roles.
- Knowledge of SRE principles including SLI/SLO design and error budgets.
- Expertise in developing scalable services using Kubernetes and cloud architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex, distributed systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
