Senior Lead Software Engineer - ML Engineer
JPMorgan ChaseResponsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support regulatory model applications and cloud modernization solutions.
- Build scalable distributed data-processing solutions using PySpark, Python, and Databricks.
- Implement secure, resilient AWS architectures and integration patterns.
- Write production-quality code, tests, and documentation and contribute to code reviews and release readiness.
- Communicate architecture and delivery plans through technical documentation and tech decks.
- Partner with product, data, model, and platform teams to deliver outcomes on time.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience and strong computer science fundamentals.
- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, Databricks, and AWS.
- Experience building and operating production-grade systems with quality, reliability, and observability.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
- Preferred experience with C++, Scala, and/or Java.
- Preferred data engineering experience; ML exposure is a plus.
- Experience enabling or building AI-agent development, including LLM-enabled workflows, orchestration, evaluation, or guardrails, is valued.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
