Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders across global teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications.
- Contribute to shared codebases through version control, code reviews, and team-based development practices.
- Build and enhance frontend experiences using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, Python, and Express.js.
- Design, query, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, SQLite, and MongoDB.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack for globally used applications.
- Contribute to scalability, performance optimization, system improvements, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Share knowledge, mentor teammates, and promote strong collaborative engineering practices.
- Communicate and coordinate with California-based teams and night-shift operations across time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, completion of a reputable web development bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in a collaborative software development environment and contributing to shared codebases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, stakeholders, and globally distributed teams.
- Ability to participate in occasional off-hours meetings to maintain alignment across time zones.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills for complex applications.
- Self-motivation, proactivity, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
