Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, the Android SDK, and Android Studio.
- Apply mobile development architectures, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Implement communication with RESTful APIs using JSON and XML.
- Write clean, documented, maintainable, and testable code.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests.
- Review code and assess its impacts while proposing improvements to existing solutions.
- Produce high-quality deliverables and reports.
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- More than seven years of Android development experience.
- Bac+5 engineering-school or equivalent university degree with a specialization in computer science, or equivalent significant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, the Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile development architectures such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web communication techniques including JSON and XML.
- Experience with Git, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Understanding of design patterns and mobile development best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical skills, continuous-improvement mindset, and teamwork.
- Experience in retail or large-scale distribution is a plus.
