Responsibilities

  • Work with designers and architects to understand functional IP blocks and their use cases.
  • Implement BSP software and perform software bring-up on pre- and post-silicon platforms.
  • Develop Linux device drivers and user-land tests for validating subsystems in complex SoCs.
  • Debug and root-cause hardware and software issues.
  • Exercise and validate systems from user space using relevant user-space APIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in embedded Linux kernel development and C programming.
  • Experience with ARM architecture and kernel-space debugging.
  • Familiarity with the Linux graphics stack, including Mesa, Vulkan, OpenGL, and GPU compute.
  • Experience validating GPUs with graphics and compute workloads, stress tests, or conformance suites.
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, networking, or storage subsystem architecture.
  • Experience developing or supporting device drivers for areas such as USB, networking, graphics, video, storage, or power management.
  • Experience porting or maintaining a Linux distribution for a platform.
