Responsibilities

Automate deployments utilizing custom templates and modules for customer environments on AWS.
Architect AWS environment best practices and deployment methodologies.
Create automation tools and processes to improve day-to-day functions.
Educate customers on AWS and Rackspace best practices and architecture.
Ensure the control, integrity, and accessibility of the cloud environment for the enterprise.
Lead Workload/Workforce Management and Optimization related tasks.
Assist Rackers across the Cloud Function.

5-10 years of experience in AWS and DevOps.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Associate level Certificates in AWS or professional level certificate.
Proficient in Terraform/IaC and CI/CD practices.
Near expert knowledge of AWS Products & Services, Compute, Storage, Security, and networking.
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Linux, or Shell scripting.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
Experience in designing, building, implementing, and troubleshooting highly available systems.
