Base Salary

$89k - $134k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype embedded systems using commercial and custom platforms.
  • Implement embedded software on SoC and other real-time embedded platforms.
  • Develop communication, sensor, navigation, and signal-processing systems using processors, FPGA/SoC technology, and SDR platforms.
  • Contribute to high-throughput architectures and highly integrated systems optimized for size, weight, power, and cost.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on national-security projects.

Requirements

  • Typically requires less than one year of related experience with a related bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Proficiency in C and/or C++.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, hardware/software interaction, low-level processor architectures, operating-system concepts, and hardware interfacing.
  • Familiarity with software development practices including design, implementation, testing, documentation, and debugging.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense SECRET clearance.
  • Preferred: master's degree in a related field; knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or Perl; experience with AMD Xilinx MPSoC, RFSoC, Versal, or Intel Agilex SoC platforms; Git, Make, or CMake; real-time operating systems, POSIX, and embedded Linux; hardware/software debugging; DSP and real-time algorithms; networking protocols; and VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
